12:05 PM EDT, 07/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Castor Maritime ( CTRM ) said Wednesday it has completed a sale and leaseback transaction for M/V Magic Thunder, a 2011-built Kamsarmax bulk carrier, with a Japanese counterparty.

The $14.6 million bareboat financing has a five-year duration, with a purchase option for the company from the end of the second year of the charter period, Castor said.
