02:10 PM EDT, 05/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Caterpillar ( CAT ) said Thursday it sold about $2 billion of senior notes following an underwritten offering.

The offering included $1.7 billion of 5.2% senior notes due 2035 and $300 million of 5.5% senior notes due 2055, according to a regulatory filing.

Net proceeds from the sale will be used for general corporate purposes, the filing showed.
