CBIZ Q2 Adjusted Earnings Fall, Revenue Rises; Reduces 2024 EPS Outlook; Shares Fall

09:45 AM EDT, 07/31/2024 (MT Newswires) -- CBIZ ( CBZ ) reported Q2 adjusted earnings Wednesday of $0.50 per share, down from $0.55 a year earlier.

Three analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.68.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $420.0 million, up from $398.5 million a year earlier.

Three analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $430.4 million.

The financial services company said it now expects 2024 adjusted diluted EPS of $2.64 to $2.69, compared with its previous outlook of $2.70 to $2.75. Three analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect normalized EPS of $2.74.

The company maintained its 2024 total revenue outlook growth of 7% to 9%.

CBIZ ( CBZ ) shares were down by more than 11% in early trading.
