04:56 AM EDT, 03/17/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Cboe Global Markets ( CBOE ) said late Monday it submitted a proposal to the US Securities and Exchange Commission to launch near 24-hour, five-day-a-week equities trading on its EDGX exchange.

The exchange operator anticipates initiating the extended schedule in December, pending regulatory clearance, alongside the readiness of required industry infrastructure.

The company said all trades are planned to be cleared via the Depository Trust and Clearing Corp.
