04:58 PM EDT, 04/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Cboe Global Markets ( CBOE ) said Wednesday the average daily trading volume of index options contracts reached about 4.1 million in March, up 4.9% from a year earlier.

Multiply-listed options contracts declined 2.1% year over year to about 10.6 million for the same month, while futures contracts dropped 19.2% to 217,100.

Shares of the company were down 1% in recent after-hours activity.
