CBOT declares force majeure for Ohio River wheat shipping stations

CHICAGO, April 9 (Reuters) - The CME Group ( CME ), parent of

the Chicago Board of Trade, declared force majeure for wheat

shipping stations on the Ohio River due to flooding, the

exchange said in a statement on Wednesday.

High water and/or flooding made grain load-out impossible at

delivery points for CBOT wheat futures on the river, the

exchange said.
