09:11 AM EDT, 06/20/2024 (MT Newswires) -- CDK Global (CDK), the software provider for thousands of car dealerships, notified its customers Thursday that it suffered a second cyberattack in as many days, according to media reports.

The incident reportedly occurred late Wednesday evening, and CDK shut down most of its systems in response.

As a result, dealers reliant on CDK were unable to complete transactions, access customer records, handle car-repair orders or schedule appointments, according to reports.
