Celcuity Q1 Net Loss Widens; Shares Rise After Hours

06:04 PM EDT, 05/15/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Celcuity ( CELC ) reported a Q1 GAAP net loss late Wednesday of $0.64 per diluted share, compared with a loss of $0.55 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected a loss of $0.70.

No revenue was reported for the quarter ended March 31, as expected.

The company had cash, cash equivalents and short-term investments of $177.7 million as of March 31. Celcuity ( CELC ) said it expects cash, cash equivalents, investments and drawdown on its debt facility to fund current operational activities into H1 2026.

The company's shares rose 4.7% in after-hours activity.
