Cemex CEO to retire, head of U.S. unit to replace him

Feb 10 (Reuters) - Mexican cement maker Cemex

said on Monday that its chief executive Fernando

Gonzalez will retire after more than three decades with the

firm, and its board of directors has appointed Jaime Muguiro to

succeed him.

Muguiro currently serves as president of Cemex USA. The

changes become effective April 1, the company added in a

statement.
