10:11 AM EST, 01/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Cenntro ( CENN ) shares were up Thursday morning after the electric vehicle manufacturer said it will produce 500 of its customized commercial vehicles specifically for the Japanese market.

The vehicles will be built at Cenntro's ( CENN ) manufacturing in Zhejiang, China. Financial and other details of the contract were not disclosed but the company said the order is backed by a bank letter of credit, with delivery scheduled during the first three months of 2025.
