08:16 AM EDT, 10/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Cenovus Energy ( CVE ) said Wednesday that it has acquired an additional 3.3 million shares of Meg Energy.

Cenovus said it now owns 25 million shares of Meg Energy, accounting for 9.8% of the issued and outstanding shares, all of which have been acquired since Oct. 8.

Cenovus said it has acquired the Meg common shares as part of its previously announced deal with Meg.
