07:01 AM EST, 12/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Cenovus Energy ( CVE ) said Thursday that it expects 2025 upstream production of 805,000 to 845,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day, a 4% increase over 2024.

The company also said it expects total downstream crude throughput of between 650,000 and 685,000 barrels per day in 2025, up 4% from 2024.

Additionally, Cenovus said it expects 2025 capital investment between $4.6 billion and $5 billion.
