06:38 AM EDT, 06/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Cenovus Energy ( CVE ) on Thursday said it has restored full production at its Christina Lake oil sands asset following wildfires in the area.

Production operations restarted on June 3 and production was ramped up over the course of the week, the company said.

Site inspections showed no damage to Cenovus infrastructure. The company continues to monitor the overall wildfire situation in Alberta.

Cenovus' share price at last look lost 0.9% to US$14.19 in U.S. pre-market trading on Thursday.
