Centene Withdraws 2025 Adjusted EPS Outlook; Shares Fall After Hours

05:25 PM EDT, 07/01/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Centene ( CNC ) said late Tuesday it is withdrawing its previously reiterated adjusted earnings outlook of more than $7.25 per diluted share for 2025 following an analysis of market data.

The data showed that market growth in 22 of Centene's ( CNC ) 29 marketplace states is below expectations, which cuts its previous full-year net risk adjustment revenue transfer estimate, implying an adjusted diluted EPS impact of about $2.75, the company said.

Centene ( CNC ) said it expects to report Q2 results on July 25.

The company's shares were falling about 23% in recent after-hours activity.
