12:21 PM EDT, 09/04/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Centene ( CNC ) said Wednesday that its Iowa Total Care unit is selected by the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services for continued provision of Medicaid managed care services.

The services will be provided under the Iowa Health Link program, according to Centene ( CNC ).

The contract will begin July 1, 2025, and will last for four years with an option for a two-year extension, the company added.

Financial terms of the award were not disclosed.

Shares of the company were down 8.3% in recent trading.
