03:53 PM EDT, 10/14/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Centene ( CNC ) said Monday its unit Meridian Health Plan of Michigan won a Michigan Department of Health and Human Services contract to provide Medicare and Medicaid services for dually eligible residents.

Meridian will launch a new Coordinated Health plan in Michigan in collaboration with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to replace the Health Link pilot program under the Highly Integrated Dual Eligible Special Needs Plan, the company said.

Financial details of the contract were not disclosed.

The new plan will launch on Jan. 1, 2026, after the ongoing Medicare-Medicaid Plan ends in late 2025.
