Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $1.41.

Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $42.02 billion, up from $38.04 billion a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $37.89 billion.

The company said it continues to expect 2024 adjusted EPS to be greater than $6.80. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $6.82.

Revenue for the year is now projected to be $159 billion to $161 billion, compared with the prior outlook of $155 billion to $157 billion. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $156.6 billion.

Shares of the company were up more than 10% in recent premarket activity Friday.
