Centerra Gold Appoints Hendriks as Chief Operating Officer

05:07 PM EST, 03/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Centerra Gold ( CGAU ) on Tuesday said David Hendriks will become the its chief operating officer on April 15, replacing Paul Chawrun, who is leaving the company at month's end.

Hedricks has over 30 years of mining experience and was most recently Senior Vice President of Nicaraguan Operations at Calibre Mining ( CXBMF ) , which is being acquired by Equinox Gold ( EQX ) .

"I am pleased to welcome David Hendriks as our new Chief Operating Officer. With a proven track record of leadership and operational excellence, he brings valuable expertise that will help drive Centerra's continued success," chief executive Paul Tomory said.

Centerra shares closed up $0.01 to $8.26 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
