Centerra Gold's Chief Operating Officer Leaving the Company

05:17 PM EDT, 03/30/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Centerra Gold ( CGAU ) said after the market close on Monday chief operating officer David Hendriks will be leaving the company.

According to the statement, he will remain available to the company in a consulting capacity to support a smooth transition. Mike Sylvestre will assume the COO role on an interim basis, effective today.

"Mike brings decades of operational leadership and deep technical expertise, and we are confident his experience and results-driven approach will support our sites as we remain focused on execution across our operating assets and continue to develop our organic growth pipeline of projects," chief executive Paul Tomory said.

Sylvestre is a mining executive with over 45 years of international experience and has held leadership roles at major, mid-tier and junior mining companies. He most recently served as senior vice president, Americas, at Kinross Gold, retiring in 2022.

Shares of the company closed up $0.01 at $23.24 on Toronto Stock Exchange.
