07:27 AM EDT, 09/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Centrus Energy ( LEU ) said Wednesday it has signed a supply deal with Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power for low-enriched uranium to support the construction of new enrichment facilities at its American Centrifuge Plant in Ohio.

The supply agreement covers 10-year deliveries that would help fuel Korea's nuclear reactors.

Centrus has secured $1.8 billion in contingent sales commitments to support the new capacity. The commitments depend on final agreements and securing necessary investments.
