06:36 AM EDT, 08/26/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Centrus Energy ( LEU ) said late Monday it signed a nonbinding memorandum of understanding with Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power and POSCO International to explore potential investment for the expansion of its uranium enrichment plant in Piketon, Ohio.

Centrus and Korea Hydro also agreed to increase the supply volume of low-enriched uranium under their previously signed contract, the company said.

Centrus shares were up 1.5% in recent premarket activity Tuesday.
