09:24 AM EDT, 07/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Century Aluminum ( CENX ) said Wednesday that it plans a private offering of $400 million of senior secured notes due July 2032.

The company said the interest rate and other terms of the notes will be determined when the offering is priced.

Century Aluminum ( CENX ) said it intends to use the net proceeds to refinance its 7.50% senior secured notes due 2028, to repay borrowings under its credit facilities and to pay fees and expenses linked to these transactions.
