08:48 AM EDT, 07/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Century Lithium ( CYDVF ) changed the name of its Clayton Valley Lithium Project in Nevada to the Angel Island Mine.

Regulators encouraged a name change for clarity in the permitting process, Century Lithium ( CYDVF ) said. The Angel Island name distinguishes it from other mining and energy projects in the area by using the name of a topographical feature.

Last April, Century Lithium ( CYDVF ) announced a positive feasibility study for the project, making it one of the few advanced lithium projects being developed in the U.S.
