04:45 PM EDT, 10/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Certara ( CERT ) said Wednesday it has closed its acquisition of cheminformatics software developer Chemaxon.

The combined organization's near-term priorities involve incorporating chemistry tools, calculators, and predictors into Certara's ( CERT ) D360 informatics applications and Simcyp PBPK simulator for prediction accuracy, according to the company.

The company said it will issue an updated 2024 guidance when it releases its Q3 results next month to include the contribution from Chemaxon, which is expected to generate software revenue of more than $20 million this year.
