08:23 AM EDT, 07/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Certara ( CERT ) said Tuesday it has expanded its collaboration with Merck ( MRK ) to broaden the use of its Pinnacle 21 software platform.

Merck ( MRK ) will now adopt additional software capabilities, including a metadata repository and data standards workflow management tools, to help accelerate preparation of validated, analysis-ready datasets for regulatory submissions, Certara ( CERT ) said.

Certara ( CERT ) said the platform is designed to help manage the rising complexity of clinical trials.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Shares of Certara ( CERT ) were down 1% in Tuesday premarket activity.
