WASHINGTON, Dec 23 (Reuters) - The Consumer Financial
Protection Bureau said on Monday it was suing Walmart ( WMT ) and Branch
Messenger for forcing delivery drivers to use costly deposit
accounts to get paid and for deceiving workers.
In a statement, the bureau alleged the two companies opened
Branch accounts for Spark Drivers. Walmart ( WMT ) then deposited
drivers' pay into these accounts without their consent, it said.
