07:09 AM EST, 01/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CGI (GIB-A.TO) on Thursday said it is buying German company Novatec, which specializes in software engineering, and business and IT consulting services.
Novatech, which has offices in Germany and Granada, has 300 consultants and IT specialists. The acquisition will strengthen CGI's offerings in the manufacturing and financial services sectors, with a focus on the automotive industry and e-mobility. The transaction is expected to close in March.

CGI on Wednesday announced a deal to buy BJSS, a technology and engineering consultancy based in the UK.
CGI was last seen up US$0.50, to US$115.04, in New York trading.
