08:48 AM EDT, 08/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- CGI (GIB) said on Tuesday that the City of New York selected it to maintain the STARS parking violation system, which runs on the CGI Advantage Collections platform.

Under a new five-year contract with a possible two-year extension, CGI will partner with the city's Department of Finance to manage adjudication, payment, and collection processes for parking and camera violations, the company said.

It added that it would provide IT and consulting services for system updates, modifications, and new solutions.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
