07:56 AM EDT, 06/27/2024 (MT Newswires) -- CGI's (GIB) subsidiary CGI Federal said Thursday it was selected as a technology partner of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, allowing the company to bid on task orders under a blanket purchase agreement with a value of up to $8 billion.

The FBI Information Technology Supplies and Support Services 2nd Generation Blanket Purchase Agreement was awarded under the General Services Administration Multiple Award Schedule, CGI Federal said.

CGI Federal said it aims to provide business consulting, systems integration, and managed IT services to the bureau.
