07:25 AM EDT, 08/25/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CGI (GIB) said Monday it has won a contract from the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts to implement a new enterprise financial system using its Advantage platform.

The project will replace the state's legacy accounting, property, and identification systems with a cloud-based ERP solution, the company said.

Texas' comptroller's office oversees payments and accounting across 225 agencies and universities, with the new system expected to process more than 42.7 million transactions annually for about 5,000 users, CGI said.

The rollout will include financial management, vendor self-service, and integrations with other state systems, streamlining reporting and compliance, it added.
