11:53 AM EDT, 10/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Charles River Laboratories International ( CRL ) said Monday it has entered into a strategic collaboration with drug discovery firm X-Chem to boost its hit identification capabilities.

The partnership gives Charles River clients access to X-Chem's DNA-encoded library with more than 15 billion compounds, according to a statement.

Shares of Charles River were up more than 2% in recent trading Monday.
