09:06 AM EDT, 10/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Charles River Laboratories International ( CRL ) and Toxys said Wednesday that they have formed a partnership that offers the former's clients access to Toxys' ReproTracker assay to identify toxicity hazards of new drugs and chemicals.

Financial terms of the partnership were not disclosed.

ReproTracker can be used as an early-phase toxicity screening platform in animal-free testing or as a tool to apply animal-derived testing results to humans, the companies said.

Shares of Charles River rose more than 1% in recent pre-bell activity Wednesday.
