09:22 AM EDT, 08/14/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Charles Schwab ( SCHW ) said Wednesday its total client assets reached $9.572 trillion in July, up 16% from a year earlier and 2% from June.

Core net new assets brought to the company were $29 billion last month, up 112% from July 2023, the company added.

New brokerage accounts totaled 327,000 in July, up 8% from a year earlier and 5% from June, the financial services firm said.

Charles Schwab ( SCHW ) shares rose 2.4% in premarket trading.
