09:43 AM EDT, 10/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Charter Communications ( CHTR ) and NBCUniversal said Wednesday that they had signed a multi-year renewal agreement to extend their content distribution deal.

The agreement allows Charter to continue carrying NBCUniversal's portfolio of broadcast, entertainment, Hispanic, news and sports networks, the companies said.

The new agreement will also allow Charter to offer an ad-supported version of NBCUniversal's Peacock streaming service Spectrum TV Select customers at no additional costs in the coming months, the companies said.

Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.
