Oct 21 (Reuters) - Cable giant Charter Communications ( CHTR )
is laying off close to 1,200 employees, or just over 1%
of its 95,000-person workforce, a source familiar with the
matter told Reuters on Tuesday.
The job cuts will be related to corporate management roles
within the company, the source said, adding that sales or
service roles will not be impacted.
The Wall Street journal first reported the news.
