Analysts polled by FactSet expected $2.45.

Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $677.5 million, compared with $635.1 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $673.2 million.

The company's shares were up more than 7% in recent Tuesday premarket activity.
