10:37 AM EDT, 08/27/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Cheer Holding ( CHR ) said Tuesday that an artificial intelligence-powered data management technology it developed has been awarded a certificate of invention patent in China.

The company said the patent issued by the China National Intellectual Property Administration marks a breakthrough in its AI technology in the field of film and television media.

The invention helps determine "the most effective operation adjustment method for improving the daily revenue from operation of the current film and television platform based on multiple influencing factors," it said.

Shares of the company were down more than 1% in recent trading.
