05:43 AM EDT, 07/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Cheetah Mobile ( CMCM ) said Monday that one of its majority-owned units has agreed to acquire a roughly 61% equity interest in robotic arms provider Shenzhen Ufactory Technology for 99.5 million Chinese renminbi ($13.9 million).

Following the transaction, two different Cheetah Mobile ( CMCM ) subsidiaries will collectively hold about 80% of Shenzhen Ufactory's total equity interest, representing the company's ultimate beneficial ownership in the firm of nearly 76%, it said.

The deal is expected to close in Q3.

Cheetah Mobile ( CMCM ) shares were up 12% in recent premarket activity.
