08:48 AM EDT, 09/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Chemours ( CC ) said Monday that it has developed a retrofit process to replace the legacy R-134a refrigerant in mobile air conditioning systems with its low global warming potential Opteon YF refrigerant.

Chemours ( CC ) said the procedure will allow vehicle owners and service technicians to "safely and cost effectively" transition to low GWP refrigerants.
