07:18 AM EDT, 03/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Chemours ( CC ) and Energy Fuels ( UUUU ) said Tuesday they are establishing a strategic partnership to expand their existing relationship to "enhance" US rare earth and critical mineral supply chains.

Energy Fuels ( UUUU ) is developing new heavy mineral sands projects in Madagascar, Brazil, and Australia, while Chemours ( CC ) mines and separates heavy mineral sands from its operations in Florida and Georgia.

Energy Fuels' ( UUUU ) shares were up 1.4% in recent premarket activity, while Chemours ( CC ) fell 0.3%.
