06:27 AM EST, 12/31/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Cheniere Energy (LNG) said Monday it achieved the first production of liquefied natural gas from the Texas Corpus Christi Stage 3 Liquefaction project.
The company said it expects substantial completion of Train 1 by the end of Q1, more than six months ahead of schedule. It also said the project is progressing well, with 75.9% overall completion as of November 2024.
The project includes seven midscale trains, collectively producing over 10 million tonnes per annum of LNG.
Once fully operational, the Corpus Christi facility will have a total LNG production capacity exceeding 25 million tonnes per annum.
