04:51 AM EST, 12/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Chevron's ( CVX ) Chevron Australia subsidiary said Tuesday it signed an agreement to supply natural gas to Alcoa's ( AA ) Australian unit from its portfolio in the country's western region.

Commencing Jan. 1, 2028, the company will supply 130 petajoules of gas over a 10-year term from the Chevron ( CVX )-operated Gorgon and Wheatstone facilities, and the North West Shelf Venture, it said.

The company did not disclose the deal's financial details.
