Chevron exploring options to buy Lukoil's assets, sources say

LONDON, Nov 17 (Reuters) - Oil major Chevron ( CVX ) is

studying options to buy international assets of sanctioned

Russian oil firm Lukoil, five sources familiar with

the process told Reuters.

On Friday, the U.S. Treasury gave clearance to potential

buyers to talk to Lukoil about foreign assets.
