08:55 AM EDT, 04/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Chevron ( CVX ) paid Chief Executive Michael Wirth $26.5 million in compensation for 2023, up from $23.6 million a year earlier, according to a regulatory filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission Wednesday.

The company said it increased Wirth's 2024 base salary to $1.90 million from $1.85 million in 2023.
