Chijet Motor in Noncompliance With Nasdaq's Audit Committee Requirements

05:20 PM EDT, 03/21/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Chijet Motor ( CJET ) said late Thursday it was no longer in compliance with the Nasdaq's audit committee requirements due to the resignation of independent director Simon Pang from the board and its audit committee.

The Nasdaq will provide the company a cure period until the earlier of its next annual shareholder meeting or March 15, 2025, to regain compliance. Provided that if the next meeting is held before Sept. 11, then Chijet Motor ( CJET ) must evidence compliance no later than such a date, it said.

Chijet Motor ( CJET ) said it intends to fill in the vacancy on the audit committee within the cure period.
