06:41 AM EST, 11/14/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Chijet Motor ( CJET ) said Friday that the effective date of its planned name and ticker symbol change has been delayed due to "certain regulatory procedural reasons."

The move comes after the company said late Thursday that its class A shares would begin trading on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the new name Digital Currency X Technology and ticker symbol DCX, effective Friday.

Chijet Motor ( CJET ) said Friday it will continue trading under its existing name and ticker until the required regulatory procedures are completed.

The company's shares were down 2.4% in recent premarket activity.
