03:15 PM EST, 02/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Children's Place (PLCE) shares were up nearly 22% in recent trading Wednesday after shareholder Mithaq Capital reported it acquired roughly 5.1 million more shares at $9.75 per share via a recent rights offering.

In a regulatory filing, Mithaq said it now beneficially owns around 12.1 million shares of Children's Place after the recent equity transaction.
