Chile's Latam Airlines posts surge in first-quarter net profit

May 2 (Reuters) - LATAM Airlines's net profit

more than doubled during the first quarter to reach $258

million, a filing said on Thursday.

The Santiago-based carrier saw its quarterly revenues

increase 18.4% to $3.32 billion.
