Chile's SQM quarterly profit rises by 35.8%

Nov 18 (Reuters) - Chilean lithium producer SQM

reported on Tuesday a 35.8% rise in third-quarter net

profit.

The world's second-largest lithium producer said net

income for the quarter ended September 30 was $178.4 million,

or $0.62 per share, compared with $131 million a year earlier.
