10:27 AM EST, 11/06/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Chimera Investment ( CIM/PA ) shares were down more than 5% in recent Thursday trading after the company posted Q3 net interest income that missed analyst expectations.

The company reported Q3 adjusted earnings Thursday of $0.37 per diluted share, up from $0.36 a year earlier.

Net interest income for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $65 million, compared with $66.5 million a year earlier.

Two analysts polled by FactSet expected $84.8 million.
